In my dream house, I prefer it to be in Atlanta style home with a big entrance with high ceilings, a huge window, and with a chandelier hanging in the view. On the outside I would want to have a bridge going over a pond to the front door. In the pond I would want some koi fish with turtles in one side. In the front yard I would like bamboo trees as well as statues of elephants. I would also want an enormously tall gate where no one can climb over. To access my house there would be a mile long driveway, I want it to look mysterious and yet out of place in the environment around. So if the driveway is a dirt road with no grass around, my house would be the greenest out of the rest of the environment around. In the last 100 meters before reaching my gate I want the drive in the road to be full of large white pillars and the brightest white granite for the road. White is a big focal point in my house because it’s so simple and it stands out a lot. I don’t like homes to look the same; I like personality in each home around and variety. I get my ideas from different cultures such as Asian and European qualities like the bamboo and pillars.
The front entrance to the house would be a double iron bar door with frosted windows. The foyer with white wall paper with metallic rose gold design of large flowers. The first thing entering would be two sets of stairs in a shape of a Ω. Underneath the stairs is a hallway and through that hallway would be a long dining room table meant for 20 people at least. The colors in the dining room are bright and lively in a light blue shade with a hint of lavender. In sight from the foyer there are big sliding doors behind the dining room table to look out into the back yard. On the left and right there are hallways with living rooms almost the same but different color schemes. On the right of the dining room table is a huge kitchen with blue cabinets and crystallized white marble countertops. To the left of the dining room table is a bar with 6 seats and a large walking in wine cellar. Inside the wine cellar are stairs to the basement. In a spiral set of stairs to the basement is a pool and a gym. The pool will be tiled with little glass tiles with shades of white, blue, midnight blue, dark green, and black. The pool will be heated and 50 meters long to practice. Behind the pool are glass windows to see the gym floored with yoga mat material. The gym has standard equipment as well as a sauna. I’ve always wanted an indoor swimming pool so that I wouldn’t have to wait till summer or spring to use my pool that was outside. The gym right off the pool is very convenient so that I can work out in one floor in my house. In the top floor of my house will be the least used and the most standard. I am rarely in my room and mostly being active which I see myself in my basement way more often. Going up the stairs from the foyer is a loft with a pool table that is blue for it to stand out and seats all around the room. Behind the pool table would be double doors to get into my master bedroom and the only way to enter would be my hand print. The main focal point in my bedroom is the king sized bed with drapes all around and I got this idea in my CW TV show called Reign. I like lots of light and I would prefer windows all around my room and to the left is a huge master bath with double sinks, claw foot tub, stone shower, and old hard wood floors that have character. In the rest of the floor 4 bed rooms equal sized 15X15 and all have on suit standard bathrooms. In my back yard I would like a deck with a big outdoor barbeque/ kitchen and enough seats for my family. The deck would be floored with thin slabs of wood finished in a matt top coat. The garden will have a small fountain and around the fountain will have colorful flowers. I got these ideas from Pinterest because I love nature and the outdoors rather than being inside. I want my backyard to be a place where anyone can access all year round because it won’t be freezing. The perfect climate to have a house like this is in Atlanta, Georgia because their average temperature is 65 to 85 degrees most of the year. Although it’s a very humid place it’s great because Georgia is a forest land and it’s perfect for keeping the green in my back yard. The size of my home is roughly 5,500 square feet and priced around 3 million which is a lot of house compared to here in California. I like to watch HGTV it’s a channel and it’s all home improvement all around the world and I get ideas but the houses that really catch my attention are the mansions from Atlanta, Georgia. I plan to obtain this extravagant home by being a psychologist but to have everything on my wish lists is probably out of my reach. Places as big as this don’t really go as extravagant as the American dream. |
